The rules are changing. How are we changing with them?
A short film series for LinkedIn. Each episode follows one person and a change in their work or life — in around five minutes.

Every update
has a human story.
Excerpts from previous KUBO work — examples of our filmmaking, not episodes of Version Update.
We live between eras. New tools are changing what we can do. But habits, professions and the way we see ourselves don’t update at the press of a button. That gap is where we look for stories.
Version Update meets people in the middle of that transition: what they choose to learn, what they let go of and what they want to keep. Technology and AI are part of the picture. The person, their choices and their changing life are at its centre.
One person and one story per episode, in around five minutes. Starting on LinkedIn, with the precise length and edit shaped by the story.
The five parts are fixed. The subject is open: the guest chooses which change to talk about. Pacing and time for each part are shaped in the edit.
Introduce yourself in one sentence: the person behind the story.
One person per episode, with a clear story about the change they are living through. In the spirit of Kan 11: curiosity, humanity and humour drawn from real life.
A visual story, not a recorded lecture. Feed-paced editing and carefully prepared subtitles so viewers can follow without sound.
A product can be part of the story, but the film should matter to someone who will never buy it. No AI slogans or ads for the guest’s company.

Director, producer, and founder of KUBO. Over a decade creating video for technology companies and organisations in Israel. Looking for the person and the story inside the change.

Has something changed in how you work, create or live? We’re interested in your experience: what you tried, what worked and what you’re still figuring out. We start with a short conversation. If the story fits the series, we prepare together and arrange filming.
Talk to BorisAn initial conversation, without a commitment to participate or publish.No. We’re looking for people whose work, creative practice or lives are being reshaped by change. Technology can be part of the story, but it isn’t a requirement.
We start with a preparation conversation. If the story fits, we agree on filming and the details. The story determines the filming scope and episode length.
No. Version Update is an independent editorial series. The team decides the story and the edit. Any separate commercial project with KUBO is not a condition of participation and does not influence editorial content.
